It does depend on what paper products you want to use. If want to be able to switch between any paper on the market, pigment ink is the way to go.
The tests on Claria are new, but going well with 5 papers. If you choose a printer with Claria, you'll have to test the paper you want to use, unless it's in this thread:
Claria Ink Results ~~pictures!! but it's always best to do your own tests since you're the one selling the product.
And Jetprosofstretch (
JPSS) is doing well in that Claria test. I've used it with Regular Canon Dye Ink from my Canon Pixma, and after 9 washes (8 in warm water, high heat dryer, and 4 times with One Cup of Bleach) the color retention is fabulous. But, this has only worked with
JPSS, so if you use your Canon, that's it for papers for you, unless you find another one that works like
