Question Method to make vinyl feel like dye sub or direct to garment.

I have a Wide format Motoh for vinyl vehicle wraps, Customers are wanting T-Shirts, however, neither me or my customers are happy with the vinyl material suppliers have sent. Is there a method that will give us the feel of direct to garmet or dye sublimation. utilizing our current equipment? Thanks doright

The clear solutions stuff that Imprintables has.. to me feels as soft as dyesub.. I would check to see if you can print on that with the motoh..
If you contact josh.. and it will work for your machine.. Im sure he would send a sample for you to try.. Hes great that way..

I had the same issue as you. I had tried what I thought was every vinyl. Then someone sent me a sample of Thermoflex Plus and it rocks. It is so much better I can't even tell you. Good Luck.

BTW, yesterday a customer couldn't tell the difference between a Thermoflex tee and a screen printed tee I had done.

How do you get good results.
I tried that and hotmark and they both wrinkled on me. I only had the words
navy chief on it.
I did a wah test with those 2 plus easy weed and easy weed looked great compared to those 2

Thanks for your time

Make sure your heat press is set to either Celsius or Fahrenheit, don't remember exactly what the directions said. But make sure you are right on the money with the Thermoflex. Ours turned out amazing and now I will never use anything else.

Now, I did some hotmark right after that bec I was out of the TFP and I live in no-man's land so I couldn't just run out and get some. The hotmark absolutely melted to the shirt. It was a mess.

I think every one of these brands have their own finicky time and temp issues.

You can use the ink based cad product from Imprintables...I think its Dura cut. I dont think any applied material is going to give you the hand of sublimation as there isnt any hand.

I told you Thermoflex plus and Multicut felt amazing on a shirt. There had to be something wrong with the piece you had. I have never had thermoflex plus nor multicut wrinkle.

Easy Weed has a very soft feel as well...looks very much like screen printing.

Sorry but none of your practiced products will give you dye sublimation hand.

David .. I agree..the cut vinyl will not. but. i will tell you when i saw the clear solutions and felt it.. It had no hand.. and you would never know it was a pressed on design.
