Hey everyone, I was looking for some input from the experts on here. I have the opportunity to buy an Epson C88 with 3 packs of yellow ink, 2 packs of red ink, 1 pack of black ink for 40.00. It seems like a good deal but what should I be looking for. What do I need to watch out and make sure works? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I would say go for it. I just bought mine for about that price and don't regret it one bit.

It is a good system. Can easily be setup to use dye sub inks. I would just ask for a sample print out to make sure all in order.

Has the seller demostrated the printer for you to prove the heads aren't plugged and are the Xtra packs of ink Epson brand? I've got a box of generic Chineeze cartridges setting here that have proven to not be pigmented ink and are pretty much worthless. Something you may want to factor into your decision.

Mine says durabrite ink on the right hand side you may want to look for that. Just a thought.
