How long should I have to between pressing shirts? I think as soon as I get the next shirt ajusted I can press it.
Does amber heat light ever stop flashing. And does it go from amber to green?
You are pobably wondering by now, why don't she just call HIX? I did and they did leave me feeling confident with they answers. I need some who actually has and uses a HT- 400-D 15x15 not swingman 15x15 or a Mighty Press or some other press. I my head that last part was in CAPS. So I'll stop before I really start venting. Thank for your time. Renee
My press makes(hix 400) a thud sound if my pressure is turned up. I press shirts 1 after another (within seconds) no issure . My light changes colors because it reacts to the thermostat, i think. If you have other questions , let me know. ...... JB
I have the same machine and only wait as long as it takes to get the next shirt laid out on the press ( a second or two).
The amber light does go out, when the press is at the desired temperature, but on cold days it flickers as the press heats up each time. It does not go green, just goes out.
As far as a noise when closed nothing. It locks, but all it takes to unlock is a light pull on the handle.
Thanks a lot for the info. I talked to Ray at HIX Corp and according to him, its working and on its way back. *fingers crossed* I'll be up and running by next week. Again, thank you. Renee
hi gemini, i'm curious to know whether you're using the normal Hix HT-400D or the Hix HT-400D Digital....
or are they actually both the same thing? cause when i'm looking around, there seems to be a Hix HT-400D and then another entry for Hix HT-400D Digital ..... thanks...
Hi g00fy,
Hix HT-400D and the Hix HT-400D Digital are one and same the "D" stands for digtial. At least, thats what I was told and its finally working. Here are some shots of my Adinkra current project. -Renee
P.S. Love the Santa shirts
i have finally decided to go with the HT-400D... will be buying a brand new one because i've managed to find a local company that actually brings it in direct from USA and i still get the warranty... at least i'll have the warranty and all.... gosh, i'm so nervous... hahahha.... it's about 6k in my currency (malaysian) and it's a heck load of money....
