Hi, i like the sound of the Xpres vinyl, but whats the difference between them all?
I'm wanting to apply them to 100% cotton t-shirts if that helps, mainly white vinyl on black shirts. Its important theyre soft and last well.
So which is the one to go for? Super flex, Easy flex, flexi cut, ultra cut or easy cut? Easy cut seems to be the most expensive but thats the only obvious difference to me?

Hi Mark,

I use xpres vinyl and find superflex the easiest to work with. It presses right down into the fabric and looks like it's printed.

The main differences are the thickness of the vinyl, some backings are sticky for weeding small logos, easycut is the most durable because it's sheets of screen printed ink in effect and the others are better for different materials.

Contact xpres and get some samples, they should also send a wall chart with all the different vinyls and the specs of each one. I can't fault their products or service.

I also noticed that they are one of the cheapest and the wholesaler i use (ralawise) now stock the main vinyls so you can get your t-shirts and vinyl at the same time and save postage.

Superflex should be fine for what you want.

Says Size 10? is that 10 meters for £19 or 10 sheets?

i usually get super flex wich is 5meters for £26 so just checking to see if easy cut would be better money wise.

Easycut comes in sheets 34 x 49cm, it's basically screenprinted onto a wax type paper, so it will be for 10 sheets. It's very durable and like it says, can be ironed.
