Cool What printer and ink for heat press? Please advise

Hello! I need to know some basics on selecting a decent printer for my heat press. I have seen Epson suggested many times, but does any good inkjet printer do well? What about ink costs? How many transfers can I expect out of a set of cartridges? Any bulk refill advice? If you can think of anything else that would help, do not hesitate to say it. I am here to learn! Thanks so much,

heat presses do not care what printer...just get a printer that has ink for the paper/garment you are going to do. The success of any printer use is whether it has pigmented inks...seemly the one most users adhere to. Cost of ink depends on the carts used..single colors are around 12-15 each color.HP has several that only have two carts...not good since if you are out of one color you have to toss the cart out for a new one...best to use a bulk system. I would suggest getting the ink and bulk system from the same vendor..makes trouble shooting less trouble. the amount of transfers you get is directly related to the size and colors used...so no pat answer for that
