Default Sublimation Temp for Swingman 25D

My client just purchased a Swingman 25D and is having problems with the temperature for pressing sublimation transfers.... They have been using another press previously that did not require a 220v so they are thinking that the temperature may be slightly off? any suggestions? Thanks!

sublimation does not care what press...it just needs the right temp/pressure/time. I use 400F with med pressure. Time will depend on the substrate being used. They might was to do a measurement of the actual temp and also make sure there is even pressure all around. Do the paper test...put strips of paper around the press...tighten it down and see if the force to pull out the paper is even all around

I use the 400 -425 degree temp for all my sublimation. The sublimation ink neeeds to be heated to atleast 400 degrees. When sublimation ink is heated to 400 degrees it turns into a gas and permiates the (substrate )article your pressing. The temp will affect the finished product. Good luck. ...... JB
