Smile Pressing over previously pressed shirts

I have been asked to press player names on youth tshirts that already have numbers pressed on the back of the shirt. I ordered names from transfer express. If I press these names above the numbers will it hurt the previously pressed number. I mean will the heat of the second press loosen or hurt the numbers. Thanks

I don't think it will hurt it, but make sure to have a teflon sheet in between the platen and the garment.
Hope it helps

We use teflon and it seems to work. You are only pressing for a few seconds so the worst that can happen is the existing print gets set even better and any cracks in them will go away.

We took an old screen printed football jersey that had the numbers all cracked on it and pressed it for 30 seconds and it looked new after that.
