Unhappy Epson CX4450 Vs Epson C88

HI guys
i am new here and just have a couple of questions
I bought the Epson C88 but found Epson CX4450 in another store 1 day latter
In the specs of Epson CX4450 it said it came with pigmented ink

My question is does the Epson C88 come with pigmented ink too

Should i buy the Epson CX4450 printer ? .. then i don't have to worry about buying the extra stuff for the C88

also what does the setup for the continuous ink (pigment) cost .. it looks expensive

also is it worth getting and where can i get it ?

with transfer paper ... The self weeding paper .. is it used like a regular paper ?
which ones would you recommend

and final question .. where do i get the
continuous ink (pigment) and good transfer paper in ontario canada

thanks a lot in advance

Default Re: Epson CX4450 Vs Epson C88

the c88 does come with pigment, either printer are fine.

Jetpro sofstretch is a great paper for light shirts. google it, I found a canadian supplier. I put a link in here somewhere, try the jetpro threads. search "jetpro canadian" and you'll find the link -- otherwise tshirtsupplies.com may give you such a better price that it's worth the shipping and duty.

I'm not sure I've heard of a self weed paper for pigment ink yet. That would be nice.

Either printer you chose - make sure there is an available CIS or refill carts, whichever you are looking for. I had a cx8400, no bulk system on the market - back it went for the c88. I wanted bulk ink more than a scanner. (Miss the scanner!)

There's also a regional section on the forum. You'll be able to find other's in your area and find out what they're doing for getting this stuff locally or shipped in at reasonable rates. Look on the forum main page, and scroll down to Regional Section.

Best regards.
