Discuss the various aspects of heat press technology. Transfer paper, inks, plastisol transfers, vinyl cutters, printers, commercial usage, durability, suppliers, etc.
ok i bought a Saosin shirt and was looking at it and the way it is done kinda has me stumbled. im fairly new to shirt printing and would like to use this technique if i can figure out what it is. It has been heat pressed on because it has that feel, but i would like to know how all the little scratch areas got cut out so that the shirt material is left there, the holes in the design are minut and would be to hard to cut out so can somebody please help me in figuring this out, thank you.
I agree it looks like a screen print, you could also get plasitol transfers made if you are wanting to be able to do them on demand such as one or two at a time. Hope this helps

Yep, looks like a screenprint, the only way with a heat transfer would be the plastisol as suggested before
