HELP! newbie crisis!

Default HELP! newbie crisis!

We are using
- 100% cotton shirts.
- 8.5"x11" TransferJet Heat Transfer Paper (bestblanks.com)
- monkey press heat press.

NOTHING IS WORKING

we tried different temps, and time length...
1/2 the image stays on the shirt the other half comes off and its all gooey....

HELP PLEASE.
any advice is greatly appreciated!

What are your temp, time length and pressure settings?

monkey press heat press is what your problem is it is junk that press is good for bacon and eggs

Weve tried a bunch of diff times...
with it ranging from
temp 350-370 F
time 15-40 sec
there isnt a pressure setting, just a clamp bar

and it's hot peel. should i peel if off IMMEDIATELY , wait a few seconds, minutes...

success!
it was because we are making puppy shirts underside of the shirts (where the sleeve are) was creating an uneven surface to press the transfer paper on the front of the shirt. :/ who knew....lol
so we stuck a washcloth in between the shirt and its workin great

Try using a mouse pad . . (you may have to cut it down to fit)

with hot peel you want to peel as soon as the press pops open. like seconds, otherwise you will have a hard time pulling the paper off and will peel some of your image. also don't forget to preheat your garment before you put your image down for pressing!
