The flock, a computer, software that creates contour lines, a plotter, a heatpress and something to press it on.

I just bought a CraftRobo Pro for $900.. It isnt working out for me right now. A lot of troubleshooting for me. Others have had success with it though.

The Roland GX-24 is what a lot of people swear by. It's $1600 plus tax..

Im sorry, I just realized, I am naming plotters that read registration marks and for flock you would not need that feature. You could possibly pick up a Sticka [by roland] for like $400 .. Im not positive though.

Im not sure what the best place is to buy the flock. On the left column [<--- over there] you can look through the forum's preferred vendors.

I wish my plotter was working right now because I would love to take this flock adventure with you. Until this thing can cut simple paper though, I wont be looking too closely into prices for various mediums.

Thanks for your replies!! I priced some Plotters on the internet a little bit ago and they can be very expensive. Im just starting out in the t-shirt biz so im in the experimenting stages. I noticed they have some "refurbished" plotters out there and they seemed to be priced accordingly. Sorry to hear about your plotter. Have you called the manufacturer?

Doug, there is always a learning curve with cutters rather it be a roland or graphtec or a US cutter it just takes practice and patience, and you will waste material learning but trust me it will all be worth it!!
