 Disassembling a 16x20 Presto 20 for shipping
Hey all,
I'm moving to Dubai for a new job with Lockheed and need to ship my Presto 20, but I can only ship upto 70 pounds per package. Which means I need to take it apart to ship it...otherwise I'd have to pay upwards of $400-$500 to ship it UPS/FEDEX/DHL. I'm shipping to an APO so shipping will only cost me $50-$60 if I can get it disassembled.
Anyone done this before? If so did it work the same when it was put back together? As far as alignment anyway...
It sounds feasible and easy, I just wanna ask before I do it.
