Default Transfer on 1 x 1 ribbed shirts.

How well do Heat Transfers work on 1 x 1 ribbed shirts?

Thanks in advance,

Lenny.

I haven't had much luck with them...at least with transfers for lights.

The fabric just stretches too much, and you can see the individual ribs in your design.

Opaques fair a little better, but you get this weird stretching on your shirt around your transfer.

Sorry, I wish I had better news for you.

Maybe someone else has had better luck with them.

No, me either, no better luck. I have had trouble with anything that is not a tee shirt.

I don't use ribbed shirts. I don't like the way transfers look on ribbed shirts. I wonder how DTG printing would look on ribbed shirts? Has anyone done this?

Plastisol works fine on them. There is still a limit to stretching but it does work.
