Default which is healthier to use for pressing - teflon or silicone?

sorry, don't know where to put this... I'm trying to figure out which would be healthier - teflon or silicone - to use for pressing??? I'm afraid of fumes from either of them... especially with a baby in the house. what other alternatives are there? some sort of paper? cloth???

Here is the thing, teflon doesn't fume, the spongee bottom part of your heat press is silicone foam, so you shouldn't get smoke or fumes from any of that, but some materials will send off fumes when you apply heat to them.

which materials will send off fumes that are dangerous

I recently completed an order of plastisol transfers a day ago and the fumes got pretty bad(dangerous). I was in a fairly good ventilated area.
