Default Greaseproof Paper for plastisol transfers?

I have been told that you can print plastisol transfers onto cheap and readily available Greaseproof paper.
Now I know the suppliers of plastisol transfer papers are going to tell me that this is not possible but I have heard from a very reliable source that it can be done.
I have searched this forum on all topics relating to plastisol transfers but as yet cannot see any threads where people are claiming to use this stuff!
Any other information relating to making your own plastisol transfers would be more than welcome eg. Inks used, mesh sizes and curing times.

Thanks in anticipation.

Phil

Hi,greaseproof paper! Baking paper dirt cheap, we use it all the time when we print festival t shirts on site ,band line ups, only two probs I can think of because its so thin if the vaccuum is too high it sucks the paper in and you get dimples, the baking paper doesnt store well its too thin and the plastisol peels off. we do the whole thing from idea, logo, band list, burn screens, print transfers all on the festival site.

Is it essential to use a vaccum platen to make plastisol transfers or can you make do with spray-tac adhesive in the eary days?
It's just that I don't want to go to the expense and trouble until I know for sure that this is the way I am going!
