Default Transfers

For those that are new and confused like me: On YouTube there are some fantastic videos that show transfers made on different types of paper and with different printers and presses. It really help me to become a lot less confused.

I have been on this site all day learning all kinds of things. It's really very interesting and the advice is fantastic. It almost makes me want to ask all of you what to do when my children are acting up.
I didn't realize that it was so complicated, but eventually I'll understand it. Thanks!

welcome to forums Leigha guess we all felt that way when we started i still do but if u r just getting started here are some point's that may help you decide which way to go
1 work out how much room you have to work with.
2 work out a budget.
3 if you already have a printer, what kind is it and can it do what u want it to.
4 what kind of market are you aiming for eg Kids, adults, etc
5 what kind of heat press can you afford and size.

once you have sat down and answered the questions it will help you work out nxt step
if you go with heat transfer's the there are 2 types inkjet and laser (not to mention sublimation and plastisols as i know nothing about them)
which way you go will depend on what printer you have
i have tried both ways and settled with laser as i liked the Duracotton t/p
but many on the forums like the inkjet and the new Jetprosoft paper so read up about it and make up your own mind as i said if u have a printer thats what u will need to go with, just make sure if its inkjet u must have pigment inks and not all inkjets use them some use a mixture
hope this is of some help good luck in your search there's a lot of info in forums they have helped my ton's
