Default how to lock down the cover on a mighty press?

I am having a problem with my Mighty Press 15 X 15 Clam heat press. I can't figure out how to lock down the cover. I'm sure I'm overlooking a very simple process, but for the life of me I can't figure it out. Can someone help?

Default Re: Very Dumb Question About Heat Press

What do you mean by lock down the cover? If you have the center adjustment knob down too tight it will not lock. You need to raise it up, un screw, and then when you lower it is should lock. I think you have it screwed all the way down. You need to learn the adjustments. each type of apparel will have different adjustments as well as transfers. I have the same machine.

I have 24 shirts ready to go out. Actually went pretty well. It was black letters on a dark gray shirt. I practiced on some white ones to get the settings on the press. Then did a gray one. Did you know Athletic Heather is a dark color?!? My family is going to be wearing some interesting looking Tees. The first shirt I printed still has half the transfer paper on it.

I am so thankful for this site. I don't post often, but I have learned a lot of valuable information from lurking.
