Default Hanes iron tag

Does anyone know what iron on paper hanes uses for their tagless tags? It seems these never fade or crack. I've tried stretching it to test it and nothing get ruined. If anyone knows please let me know

Thanks

I have been doing a lot of research in the last few days and think I read somewhere that they use a process called "pad printing" where an automatic machine picks up an imprint from an engraved plate and transfers it to the shirt or something like that.

But, with my memory I could be wrong.
