Default What is the best heat transfer paper?

Hello, I am looking for a really good heat transfer paper. I need it to be opaque and print well on both dark and light colors. I also want to make sure it stretches and doesn't crack.

Any suggestions?

Also, I was considering getting a Graphtec Craft ROBO Multi-Media Cutter Plotter to cut around my design as I don't want to see the "blank" transfer paper on my shirts. Has anyone had any experience with this in making tees. Any info would be most appreciated.

I did notice here that there is a product called Self-Cutting paper, however, it seems there is some possible issues in using pigment based inks to print. Plus, I can't find any info as to whether this will print white printing on a black shirt. If you have any info on this as well, that would be very helpful.

Thanks,

I did this shirt with a Graphtec plotter and an opaque transfer using Avery paper (it's all I had available at the time when I got "the itch". I wouldn't use Avery papers, tho).

This Is An Opaque Inkjet Transfer

I'm working on using the same method with IronAll Dark opaques. Not quite there, but almost.

Stay away from self-weeding inkjet papers. None of them are up to the task right now, unless you're using expensive sublimation inks.
