I have ran out for ink in my epson dx6000 and still need to do 4 more t-shirts on dark and light transfer paper, is it possible to use my d88 that has dyesub ink in to finish off these t-shirts?
Any help would be great.
I have used dye sub ink on transfer paper with great success. I used dye sub ink and transfer paper on 100% cotton and it has held up through several trips through the laundry(a years worth). I spoke to a rep for the ink and they said the trnsfer paper had some polyester in it and the ink attached to it. This allowed it to work on the cotton tee. I did this experiment on a white tee and a light yellow tee. I hope this helps. ....... JB
Which type of transfer paper did you use? I ask because I know different transfer papers have different chemicals on them. So, the dye sub ink might react differently from one paper to the next. This is good information to have. Thanks.
