What is the difference between the phoenix and hix mug presses?
Would someone be willing to post pictures of their mugs they have done? | | | | | |
The main difference is that the Phoenix press measures temperature rather than time increasing press cysles by 20% on average.
With the Phoenix press you lock in the mug at an idle temp of 300. When closed the press climbs to your peak temperature (usually about 390). After it heats the mug up to this temperature it takes 2 seconds to complete application.
Let the press cool back down to 300 before repeating the cycle. For a reguilar sized mug it takes approximately 4 minutes as opposed to other press' dwell times of 5 minutes +.
