I think what you're wondering about is called Plastisol transfers.

If you do a forum search here you'll find TONS of posts about plastisol transfers, and there's even a couple of posts and an article about making your own.

If this isn't what you're looking for, then I don't have an answer for you.

Good luck!

thanks alot mr david.
i love effort didn't know there are alot curious printers out there, althogh i seem a little lost with your method.
now let try if i can get a little clearer for all to understand.
u see for more than six year n this industry i have heard alot about screen printing heat transfers and that not what i mean, there regular degital transfer papers in the market for both light and dark shirts , for inkjets and laser printers .
here we go , what i want to know is can one use a screen print on to transfer release printer ,flash cure the ink on the printer print an image with it from an inkjet or laser and then finally use a heat press to transfer the image onto a t shirt lets say a white t shirt. thanks for all your efforts.

Inkjet may not work because it will bead on plastisol unless you have some type of coating that inkjet transfers have that will absorb the ink on to plastisol surface. Laser printer fuser nowadays have very high temp. The plastisol will melt on the fuser and cause jamming. Another thing to consider is registration. That is what I think will happen but you can certainly try.

I am thinking about doing it my self except I would do the opposite to your method:

1) Print mirrored image to release paper with color laser.
2) Make a screen with PhotoEz print kit
3) Lay the screen on top of the printed paper
4) Sprinkle some powder adhesive that screen printers use
5) Screen print the stack with opaque water base or plastisol underbase
6) Sprinkle the under base with powder adhesive
7) Remove screen and let the paper air dry(water base) or flash cure
8) Press the transfer on a shirt

The reasons for the adhesive are a) Use it to lift the toner from the release paper and b) So that the underbase will bond to the shirt.

Not sure how it is going to work. I often wonder if that is practical to use as transfer for dark. I do not do screen print but maybe somebody that use screen print might try that. It will be an option to produce full color transfer for dark like photo if it works.
