Discuss the various aspects of heat press technology. Transfer paper, inks, plastisol transfers, vinyl cutters, printers, commercial usage, durability, suppliers, etc.
I'm venturing in a new business and have a very large order I need to fill in the next 2 weeks. I need to find the best paper for light and dark shirts. Any suggestions?
In case you haven't looked, you can find some good information on which transfer paper to use by doing a forum search for paper in this heat press section of the forum.
Look for this link in the upper right hand corner of this section of the forum:
340 uses dye inks if I am not mistaken. it came out after I left Epson. One thing you should consider that if you deliver the shirts to client and they decide to wear one and then wash it before you get paid and it bleeds or fades a lot from washing you could get them back. Do your self a favor and make sure you test one of those shirts. You should invest 80 bucks for an Epson c88 with pigment inks. For lights i use Iron All from Milford Photo and now I am using jet dark for darks. What is the design.. (picture, words?)
