Oh will i ever learn...

So I am about $100 short in getting the new press I want. I have been for sometime and just do not have the motivation to get back into my graphic design. This happens after Christmas every year. Burnout. It has nothing to do with T's or specialty clothing, its just my fast money maker so I can start the T's... So autobiography short lol I stumbled upon a used Hix HT 400. Looks pristine and is a 15 X 15 press. They wanted $250 (shipping included) Original owners, bought it for one job and are selling... And I decided to go for it.... It should be arriving in a few days and I am excited!!!! Lets hope it works... I already had a press mishap once before, so lets hope this is as described and works awesomely...

The hix 400 is good...I have used my for 3-4 years or more...never a problem

I purchased a used one a few months ago. It's as old as the hills and has seen plenty of action but It works like a champ. They are built like tanks. I don't think that you will regret it.

i got my Hix heat press from a garage sale and its about 15 or so years old and works perfect. the previous owners said that they have never had to do any serious maintenace on it other that to change the bottom pad a few times because they can get worn out or harden up from the constant heating and cooling. every once in a while the fuse would blow (but thats what they are supposed to do) and clean the heat platen with a wire brush. i paid $100 for it and it was worth every penny! i've used it every weekend to press abut 20-30 shirts for about a year now and its works great.
