I wrapped some stock heat transfer in wax paper and when I went to use them, they bubbled up. I dont know if it was the temp or moisture. but how would be the best way to store stock heat transfers in what temp and is plastic good? please help.
I am looking for a way to store or storage units for all of my heat-transfer designs. Preferably something that I can transport to fairs and such and keep in my store.
Someone on the board here mentioned that he uses empty pizza boxes that he/she buy's from costco. Not the ones that have had the pizza already in them i guess he was talking about the blank ones that most pizza parlors use to put there pizza. He/she said they stored all there proworld stock tranfers with good success.
I went to SAm's club and bought empty pizza boxes. I store the transfers in the plastic bag inside a pizza box. I also keep them in a heated and air conditioned are at all times . The cooler storage is good for the transfers. I was told this by a transfer company owner. The pizza box idea was my wife's. ... JB
I use inkjet transfers. I store them in sheet protectors (all of each design in one sheet protector) in folders in plastic file boxes, as we travel with them to a lot of shows.
When we aren't busy, I unload the van weekly, when we are busy, I don't ... they stay in the van, whatever the weather is.
I have my transfers stored but I seem to pick up dust (probably from the work area). Is there any way to remove dust from a transfer before it is pressed?
