Default is this a good starting place?

hey guys, been quoted the following which i think seems to be ok.

As a start up low cost package using Heat Transfers through your own Ink Jet Printer then this is my recommendation.

Perfecta 15 Heat Press
2 teflon Sheets top and bottom
25 A4 Sheets Lightwear Paper
25 A4 Sheets Darkwear Paper

DVD on how to make T-Shirts

Total package Price = $790 ex GST

all prices in AU

basically if anyone has experience using similar products, what is the average life span on the printed shirts etc, will it be a professional look or show that its a dodgy backyard setup ?

does this sound ok and will i get a professional result from the above transfer papers?

cheers
six

I'm not familiar with that press and you did not enton the brand of paper but for comparison I bought the following:

Mighty Press 15 x 15

2 each teflon sheets

50 sheets of Jet Pro Sofstretch (for white/light shirts) good comments from many members on the quality of this paper

US$ 655.00

Badalou (Lou) does the videos for free on Youtube. Check out the links in his signatures.

Good luck...

You didn't not mention printer. Also, depending on the size image you want to make will determine the size and cost of the printer, and then of paper, and 4 inks costs less to upkeep then 6 ink models and bulk/CIS systems reduce ink costs by alot. If you can, choose the jetprosofstretch for lights and ironall dark papers.
