Discuss the various aspects of heat press technology. Transfer paper, inks, plastisol transfers, vinyl cutters, printers, commercial usage, durability, suppliers, etc.
I'm travelling to Longbeach all the way from South Africa.
What I would ideally like to do is order some different types of heat transfers now, and collect them at the show to bring home and test.
I have looked at the exibitor list and was wondering if anyone could suggest a supplier?? or 2, so I can send my Logo and a design to them now so they can make me some samples.
I'm new at this so I would like to try all the different Plastisol, vinyl etc types of transfers until I get my desired result.

This show usually has a lot of Plastisol vendors and they give out samples of what they do. You may want to contact a few companies like Ace transfer Ace Transfer Company and First Edition Untitled Document for them to send you some samples. Stop by the Forum booth and meet others here. I will also be doing some demos at the Coastal Booth for one of my products that they sell for me. Lou Robin
WoW thats along way to come i hope you have a good time. iis it all the way just for the trade or something you will be already in town for. i am going also maybe i will see you at the forum booth. you could also try transfer express.
It depends on what type of heat transfers you are looking for (i.e. inkjet / laser vs. plastisol transfers). Below is a quick list of some of the companies that see them for each category. Most of the Inkjet / Laser Transfers papers can be printed for you at the show. Just bring your graphic on disk or memory stick. As for plastisol transfers, you are likely only able to get their sample designs since there is more expense in setting up and producing this type of transfer.
Inkjet Transfer Papers
- Conde Systems
- Imprintables Warehouse
- The Paper Ranch
- Joto Paper
- Johnson Plastics
- Picture This / Transfer It
- Airwaves
- Coastal Business
- Coast Graphic Supply
- Photo USA
- Printa Systems
- Stahls
Plastisol Transfers
- Transfer Xpress
- F&M Expressions
- Dalco Athletics
- QuickTrans
- TransfersNumbers.com
* Note: you can do a search on this forum and find a couple of post with long lists of companies that do plastisol transfers. They typically will send out samples to you, but you might have to cover the shipping cost if they are not at the show.
Have a safe flight and enjoy the show. Best wishes.
Hi Warren, be sure to stop by booth #586 (the Impressions Magazine booth) when you get to the show. T-ShirtForums will be sharing a booth there and you can meet many of the forum members.
You can also pick up a T-ShirtForums.com Commemorative pin as a souvenir of your trip
Email and ask him about what you're trying to do. FM Expressions will have a booth at the show (#1028) and he may able to help you out.
Also contact Transfer Express. That's where I got the T-ShirtForums.com Plastisol Transfers done and they have a very fast turnaround time (and great transfers). Their booth is #846

For Vinyl and Inkjet transfers, check out these two booths:
