Printable flex and Epson R220 printer problems I'm having big problems trying to print printable t-shirt flex with my Epson R220 printer. I'm using craft robo, and I'm printing logos that need to be cut out, so I have to print the printable flext first of all with registration marks.
But every time the sheets of A4 printable flex are catching in the printer. It's the end of the sheet that catches at the corners, the rest of the sheet goes through. So it means the registration marks on that end are double and triple printing, making it no good for putting though Craft robo as it won't read them. This flex ain't cheap either, so it's driving me nuts as I waste these sheets!
I've managed in the past to print them. So it can't be the sheets, rather the printer. Or the settings?
It prints plain paper fine. But these sheets of heavier printable flex, catch EVERY time. I'm putting it on the settings suggested by the people I bought the flex from.
i've looked into the printer as much as I can without pulling it apart, I can't see anything obvious that causes it to catch the paper.
Any ideas? Or if not, any suggestions for other ink jet printers - this isn't for sublimation printing, just pigment ink printing. I'm really getting to dislike Epson. |
