Default How dark of a shirt can you use?

I just bought some Stahls Inktra Stretch transfers and some Jet Pro Soft Stretch from Coastal.

I also picked up some Atheltic Grey sweatshirts. Will theese be too dark for the above mentioned paper? What would the results be by using too dark of a shirt?

Thanks for the help!
