Discuss the various aspects of heat press technology. Transfer paper, inks, plastisol transfers, vinyl cutters, printers, commercial usage, durability, suppliers, etc.
I'm wondering if there is a source for stock heat transfers that would be more upscale, boutique-y, fashion-y (does that make any sense??) than what you would get at the big transfer distributor places. I know you can have custom transfers done, but I'm just curious to know how high-end the market goes for stock transfers. Thanks for any light shed on this subject.

Well, like chandeliers, for instance. You see them in all the stores, does anyone make a stock transfer of a silhouette chandelier? Or those silhouette flocks of birds -- anyone making stuff like that? I guess I'm thinking more along the lines of those hip groovy designs you see at threadless.com?
If you are making your own tees you can get hold of loads of free 'fashionable' artwork at deviantart.com, I have just got in to the t-shirt trade via graphic design, and I use a lot of brush sets in photoshop that people have kindly donated on this site. It's definitely worth a gander in the way of getting ideas for your designs.
