This is brand new for us, so Id love some imput on pricing pls.
We have a potential order of 144 black t's with a 2 color transfer. One large location across the back, and the left front chest.
After factoring in the costs, over head, and profit, we come up with either $7.54 per shirt....this one includes overhead costs for both sides of the shirt, but is more expensive than the popular screen printer in town.
or $6.85 per shirt, no extra overhead coverage on the second location.
Id like to know what you would charge for this using transfers. Im having a tough time getting the numbers right.

Are you kidding me? How can you possibly be making any profit? I hope your not talking about the finished product..design on shirt as shown on site. If so, I'd be asking minimum of $12, more like $15.

Thatwould be a retail price. This volume pricing. If you charged $12.00 for 144 shirts you would not be getting any business. Robin what is the cost per transfer. Are you ganging? I don't think you pricing is out of line. If I was doing 144 shirts I would keep it in $7.00 price.

Ok, thanks Lou! I was basing my prices on "Ace Transfer Company"'s pricing, and ganging the large images on the 12 x 12 sheets - 2 images per sheet, I think I only needed 36 sheets (Im not sure, I left my notes at the shop) for the front left chest logo.

Hmmmm..how foolish of me. I imagine 144 at $12 would be steep. I somehow forgot how many shirts you're dealing with. Must be old age!
