Default Plastisol Transfers using Chino base inks from Rutland

Does anyone know of any Custom Transfer companies that use Chino base inks from Rutland on their transfers to get that soft hand on their transfers?

Is this even possible?

Don't know the answer to your question but Transfers are generally softer than direct printing. I do hot split transfers and they're pretty soft, problem is they are also not as durable as direct prints. Have you tried thewildside.com?

Soft-hand printing has all to do with the mesh size of the screen you're using. If I print "I'm too cool" with a 80 mesh screen you'll feel a rubbery, patchy kinda affect. However, if I use that same design on a 156 mesh screen, then you'll havea very soft feel to your transfer. Basically speaking, hot-peel transfers on high mesh screens allow for a soft-hand feel.

What is chino based ink? I never heard of. I do hot split too and they come out good and soft.

Rutland makes a base called Chino, it's a clear base that you add color boosters to and when you print you get a very soft feel. You could also use it as an underbase but it's a little expensive for that.

I don't mean to dig up a thread over a year old but has there been any new information on this? Chino based plastisol transfers sound exactly like what I'm looking for...
