Default New Epson RX595 Printer

Just bought the RX595 printer mainly to do T-shirt transfers though having the scanner will be handy I'm sure.

The RX595 has the new Claria Ink that is water, scratch, smear proof kinda like the Durabrite Ink. I know the Claria is Dye and the Durabrite is Pigment and that the Pigment is supposed to be better for the transfers. Anyone have any expierience with the Claria ink?

Shoudl I return it and get one with the Durabrite ink or just goto a CIS system like from Inkrepublic?

Thanks for the help!

Dye base inks will fade bleed after the first wash. The best inks are pigment inks like durabrite. You do not need an expensive printer a c88 which uses durabrite inks goes an where from $70,00 - $100.00 depending on seller. If you could return it than i would. If you decided to buy pigment inks and use it on a dye ink print head your print head may damage during printing.
