Discuss the various aspects of heat press technology. Transfer paper, inks, plastisol transfers, vinyl cutters, printers, commercial usage, durability, suppliers, etc.
My transfer companies have been slow in getting back to me as to what I should do with this image. It's a pretty intense image and most of my previous stuff had been simpler colors and illustrator files which turned into neat plastisol transfers. This is just a jpg found on the internet. Anyway, how good of a shirt can I expect using this image? Any recommendations for processes or companies that can handle this would be great. http://img140.imageshack.us/img140/3...rsecopyln6.jpg
Any consensus here or other advice? The plastisol companies art depts I've talked to are still slow in getting back to me. I think it is over 60 unique colors which could be quite a problem.
Have you tried to print it out on a sheet of transfer paper just to see how it turns out?? Looking at the image there does not seem to be too much trimming involved. I transfer photos onto t-shirts all the time and they turn out great.
