Hi all, I'm trying to venture in the world of designing my own range of T Shirts. I've bought a heat press and new printer hoping my investment would pay off, however it's been a shaky start.

So far I've made a couple of shirts with regular heat transfers, but the white background that is left behind has been a difficulty to overcome. I'm fairly close to just forgetting the idea and sending everything back but I'm hoping this thread will finally answer my questions. I've read some more tips here and it's bucked my interest. The use of archival/pigmented heat transfer suits me best from what I've read.

I have an Epson Stylus Photo 1410 printer, would this be suitable for use with archival or pigmented ink heat transfer?

If so, where can I find an online store to buy the paper that I need to do this.

Rob - Try posting your question in the Heat Press Heat Transfer section of the Forum - you will get a much better response.

Also, you may find the answer to your question by just doing some research in that section - Good Luck!
