For those of you with an Oki 5800, you might want to know that there is now a third party toner cart set available. Until now it was not out for this model. For more info you could call the vendor at 800-604-2838 and nope I am not associated with the seller, but I just learned of this today by accident.
You know I am not sure about the 5500 since I have the 5800...I think the only difference between the two is that the 5800 will do auto duplexing which is nice when I am doing brochures...otherwise ..?? I am pretty sure they use the same cartridge. at least the staples.com pages lists the same stock number for each and says the carts will fit 5800 and 5500...But I would call the number to find out.. I have not called but was told of it by a friend who also has a 5800 but not in the transfer biz
I also bought a set of high capacity toners for my Oki C5200Ne from the same place. He claims it is a genuine Oki toner and yes it came with genuine Oki cartridge. Got them during a one time sale at a special price ($165.00) for members of another yahoo group that I belong. Have not tried it yet. I still have 95% left with the set I have that I bought from another 3rd party vendor (KLE).
