Default Laser Transfers for darks

NEED HELP!

I have decided to go with Oki C8800n Laser Printer for Heat Transfers. I will use Image Clip and DuraCotton for light shirts, however I need to know if anyone using Laser Printers has found a good Opaque transfer for darks?

Thanks in advance,
Bob

Check the following threads and you will see some of the options available for Opaque (dark) Transfers:

What's the best type of opaque Heat Transfer Paper, in your opinion?

Also, Charles just posted about the WOW 7.1 Opaque transfer paper made by The Magic Touch, now available in the US:

Not sure if Ironall for dark is the best but it is the best amongst the opaque I have tried. It is very thin, very stretchy, softer hand than most and good color vibrancy. It works for both inkjet and laser printer. Only thing is just like other opaque the unprinted border of intricate image outline needs to be cut which requires manual trimming with scissors or vinyl cutter. It is ok for rectangular image. There is a member (Gordo) who claims to be successful in cutting the material with GX24 vinyl cutter. Not sure where he is at with extensive use and wash test. I would say he is the best person to contact about Ironall for dark since he has done the cutting which others who tried were not succesfull. I would suggest that you send him a PM. By the way I do not know what printer he is using.

Hope this helps.

I have tried Forever Dark sample that I received directly from the manufacturer awhile back. I pressed two samples and did the wash test. It survived the first wash with cold water and hang dry. Unfortunately my wife threw them with the rest of the laundry in the dryer the second time she washed them and both started to crack and peel. I am not sure if the manufacturer have made any improvement since I tried it. Color is vibrant though but the finish is glossy and it felt like a raincoat. Another person described it as crinkly.

Ironall for dark on the other hand has been washed with hot water and hot dryer setting by another member. She claimed that it survived the beating: http://www.t-shirtforums.com/p198040-post1.html
