Default Transfer paper not transfering to shirt

Hello,

I have been reading this sight and have found it very insightful, yet I have not been able to find a solution for my particular problem. I have a brand new Geo Knight K20S, Epson R1800- using pigment ink, using Coastal Business Sample Pack, Iron All from Newmilford Photo, and 100% certified organic cotton shirts. I am using designs of my own creation.

With the Iron All and the Everlast, the transfer is applied every time and it looks beautiful, the same with the Coastal Cold Peel for light colors and Coastal Opaque. Unfortunately, for every other transfer paper the entire transfer remains on the paper or part of it remains on the paper. I have tried it with the specific instructions provided and also temperatures less and more. I have tried different pressures and times. No matter what I am trying, it is still not leaving the transfer paper. I have done over 80 different tests in a two-week time frame and am rendering the same results.

My particular interests are in the JetPro Soft Stretch and the Iron Man transfers. I know that it is user error because others are making it work. Watched ALL of Lou's videos (Thank You, very helpful for a novice such as myself) and now I am feeling quite defeated! Please, if anyone can help, HELP!

First thanks for watching my videos and hope they helped. What I don't understand is why you are looking for anything else then what you found. meaning.. you like the jet-Pro softetch then use that for lght. If you like the IRON ALL FOR DARKS Then use that for you work. What was the other paper and why even try to use it. Remember if the instruction say to do the pressing a certian way then follow it. If it does not work why waste paper. You can experimentas I have. There is no Holy grail for paper. The paper that you use and your customers like is as close as your going to get. Feel fre to email me if I can help you more. Lou

Thank you Lou and Roger. I like the Iron man and the JetPro Soft Stretch but can't make them work. The one's that I can make work, the Iron All, Coastal Cold Peel, and Coastal Opaque are not the paper I would prefer to use. Prefer the feel of Iron Man and Jet Pro Soft Stretch. I felt these with someone elses work and would like the same.

As for the printing, they have lines on the back which let me know that I am printing on the right side, so I know that is not the problem. Lou, you made it look so easy in your video. I want that same encounter! Once I can get either the Iron man or the Jet Pro Soft Stretch to work, I will have no more need to attempt any other paper.

Ironman is made by Coastal. It has more of a gloss to it, but the color stays brillant.
