Default Coastal Brand Ink w/Yellow Haze on Everything??

Alright so I am having a problem with this.. Anyone have any thoughts? I just emailed them asking for info after I didnt see this problem on the help section of the site.

I purchased your softjet and darkjet paper along with your coastal brand ink. All of the shirts I am pressing are coming out with a yellowish/green tint on them. Regardless if I use the dark or light paper it still comes out that color. I even tested some alpha green paper and it did the exact same thing. When it comes out of the printer it looks flawless. Up until its being pressed. I have also tried changing the heat, shortening or prolonging the time. That being said I still have transfers on hand from the genuine Epson cartridges. Using those I seen absolutely no problem. I was really depending on this working the way it should. For the 180 dollars I spent on this I am highly disappointed. Please give me a solution.

Are you using Corel Draw X3 - if so you may need to configure Color Manager and disable printer color matching.

I had the same problem -- only I wasn't using Coastal's inks -- I was using the regular OEM Durabrite inks that came with the C88+. What printer are you using? I went to the Advanced Settings on the Print menu, and turned the yellow to -20 and bumped up the Magenta and the Cyan to +5 on each.

Hope that helps...

Melissa

Melissa, after you adjusted the color settings did everything come out okay, or did you have to make any other changes?

Thumbs up Re: Coastal Brand Ink w/Yellow Haze on Everything?? FIXED!

Apparently some mix-up happened when they called me about my billing and shipping addy. They sent the wrong ink, which looks identical. It prints flawless. The pictures came out excellent. When you apply heat though it changes color on the shirt. They know that and addressed the issue right on the website. The pigment archival ink that was sent wont work for the transfers. Its not specified that it would eather. I thought it was my mistake but I checked my online receipt I printed and its right there. I forward all the info to them including pics. I get a email from them not half a day later that they found there error and sending out the proper ink. Very prompt and polite people. They just said to keep the ink and they would send out a replacement.
Wow, now thats customer service!! Thank you for your prompt attention to the matter coastal!
