Default Shipping to Hawaii is killing me!

I tried to order a $10.00 DuraCut sample pac from Imprintables Warehouse and the cheapest shipping was $38.00. UPS only. I e-mailed to ask if they could ship USPS priority mail and am waiting for a reply.

Shipping for the HIX Swingman 15 is $173.00.

I knew shipping costs would be an issue, but this is frustrating. Looks like I'll have to re-do my start-up budget and re-prioritize.

Did you call Josh and tell him that you're from T-ShirtForums.com?

I was shipping mist fountains to a gift shop in Hawaii. She had me send them Priority Mial. The shipping was more than the cost of the goods. But, she said it was for everything else, and she just added to the selling price.

If you are buying for local sale, you should be able to mark up your goods to cover shipping, as it's true with everything shipped there.

If you are trying to compete on the net with others, selling to the continental 48, you are going to be at a disadvantage, no question about it.

Part of the price of living in paradise.

Simple equation, the further you are the more expensive it gets.

Maybe this is a silly question, but have you checked to see if there is a seller of the items needed in Hawaii itself.
