Default problem with 100% but not 50/50 Help!

Hello,

I'm having a hard time pressing on a 100% cotton T.
The 1st. T is a gildan heavy cotton
the 2nd. T is a jockey 100% cotton
both T's are pressed at the same temp 375f and for 20sec. and i pre press the T for a few sec. to prep it.
as i peel off the paper some of the transfer does not stick to the T.

Now if i press to a 50/50 with the same settings it comes out great.?

Im using Everlast for light colors from Coastal and the Instuctions say to press at 365-380f at med. pressure for 15-20 sec.

Any ideas???
I was thinking of cool spots but it does not do this on the same spot every time...
BTW- the 2 cotton T's were washed before i press by mistake. Would that have anything to do with it???

Pressing on washed shirt certainly does not help. There might be some detergent residue that can cause what you are experiencing. Also cotton fibers will breakdown when washed which leave loose fibers on the surface. Some transfer manufacturers do not recommend pressing on washed garment.

Try pressing unwashed shirt.
