Discuss the various aspects of heat press technology. Transfer paper, inks, plastisol transfers, vinyl cutters, printers, commercial usage, durability, suppliers, etc.
Alright. I am interested in getting into the heat press industry and was wondering what heat press you all recommended? I don't have the biggest wallet at the moment but am willing to spend $300 on one. I would like a 15x15 press but don't want to spend to much. What is a GOOD quality heat press that will put the transfers on and LEAVE THEM THERE (unlike another press I tried). What makes this press here so cheap...
I think if you wait and get another $350 or so you will be much happier in the long run. A 15 x 15 can set you back about $650. Coastal a few others give discounts to forum members.

The one you picked out is a chinese knockoff...some are sort of okay..a lot are not very good quality and some are junk...you never know which you are getting. Some members have had okay use from them...biggest problem is service and support...you will get very little,if any, from the seller/manufacturer. and sometimes the presses are not truly level ..or the top platen is not exact..The name brands..the ones like Lou mentioned have lifetime warranty on the heating element..a huge deal for me..
If you proceed..do so with caution..for me I would sub out my stuff until I could afford a good press...JMO
