First: buy name-brand.

Other than that, it's really up to you. Most people will suggest that you purchase a 16 x 20 press, but a LOT of people do just fine with a 15 x 15 or 16 x 16 press. We have.

Mighty Press, Geo Knight, Phoenix Phire, HIX, and prolly one or two more are your best bets, in no particular order (we have a HIX).

I've heard that's a good machine.

You'll be happy with that one.

I just bought a mighty press 15x15 - and used it for the first time about 2 hours ago. I originally was going to get the larger one but changed my mind because I do work craft shows and felt I needed the more portable one

I feel for the first try things went well - But the instructions leave much to be desired as far as the pressure goes- That is trial and error LOL

I had an off-brand 15x15 - started having problems 6 months later. Company never returned any of my calls, so the 12 month warranty was worthless.

Purchased a 16x20 Phoenix - auto-release. LOVE IT. I do DTG and Vinyl and the auto-release is such a time saver. Don't know how I lived without it.

I didn't think I would ever need the larger press due to the fact that my DTG only prints 14x15, but I found I often needed larger for Vinyl projects.

The quality of this machine is so much better than the first one and the price difference wasn't all that much.
