Default Heat pressed the wrong side

In a hurry, and wasn't paying enough attention to what I was doing. I flipped the vinyl to the wrong side and pressed... and now I have the sticky mess on the top of my press. (I know.... why wasn't I using my teflon sheet???) No excuses... just in a rush and now I am wondering if any of you have any advice on how to clean it off?

I have done this.. what ever you do do not scape it off you will mess up the teflon coating. let cool down and spay with something like simple green and take a towel and wipe. Make sure it is just warm not hot.

Yes, I've been there, done that...TWICE!!! What an ooey, gooey, sticky...then dried up mess. I kicked myself up the basement staircase...cursing myself all the way. Then, when I & the press cooled down, I lifted the top of the press off...carried it upstairs and gently cleaned it with a soft plastic pad...and a little oven cleaner. It worked!!! Make sure you wipe off all cleaners several times...before pressing a clean shirt.
