Default Heat press guarantee please

Well I have been lurking around here in the forums now for a bit trying to decide where to start and what to do. I have some "OK" experience doing jobs such as printing on paper to make buttons/badge and making bumper stickers. I wish to expand my small bussiness into making T-Shirt.

I have a fairly general idea of what I want to do. My only questions at this point in time are these.

Which manufacter and/or re-seller of heat presses offers the best guarantee
on their machines? I would hate to buy a nice 16x20 press and have it zonk out on me in less than 1 year. (which is why I am not buying that made in china generic junk from E-bay)

Also which heat press do you guys believe to be the longest lasting one? I would LOVE to get 10 or more year out of it if I can.

Thanks in advance for your input and answers.

i've had my geo knight DK20-s for 5 years and never a hiccup - there is a lifetime warranty on the heating element - i think hix offers the same - not sure who else might - but i'd stick with one of the major brands fer shure!

Yes a lifetime warrenty on the heating element is a must for me. That alone would make me buy that brand if they offered that.

Welcome ButtonGuy!

From what I've read on the websites of brand name Heat Press manufacturers, most offer a lifetime heating element warranty.

Once it's decided on the press you may want, check the company web site and/or contact them about full warranty details.

Most brand name press manufacturers provide a lifetime warranty on the heating element and one year on the electronics/wiring. That is basically the standard warranty.
