Default HP LaserJet 1600 or Epson C88

Which will be best for printing heat transfers ? I already own the HP but was wondering if the Epson is worth getting for better quality. Also what's the best laser transfer paper out there ?

I would guess the C88+ would be best as it has pigment ink and I don't think the HP does...nor am I sure you can even get good ink for transfers for the HP

I use the C88+ and it works great. The Epson inks are better since they are pigment inks. I didn't have good luck with the HP inks.

I would still check to see if the toner is ok for transfers.

you are talking two different processes...one is doing transfers with an inkjet and the other doing transfers with a color laser. Each will use a different paper..and with the color laser I think you are going to be limited to white/ash...maybe a pastel... with inkjet you can do sublimation with the right ink/paper or can do regular transfers which are 'pasted' on the garment..
