Default White Plastisol Transfers...3 month shelf-life?!?!?!

Right after I got a ton of White Plastisol sheets printed,
I'm told the transfers will only last 3 months, maybe 6...but don't count on it.

Anyone out there using White Plastisol transfers after 6 months?

I'm pretty steamed about this...
they told me that it's an industry-wide problem.

Funny, nobody talks about it online...
and nobody offered a warning when I ordered sheets with "WHITE INK"!!!!!!

Bad business.

i was told by my supplier that plastisol transfers will last about 2 years if kept in a warm dry place. even longer, perhaps upto 5 years, but could not guarantee it.

we use some plastisol transfers here which include both white and yellow and are applying no problems after 5 years in a box on the shelf

Seal them in a Tupperware box with a bag of desiccant. They'll outlive you!

That's what I thought...
but my supplier (which happens to be the largest in the business) just told me otherwise.

I don't think they meant to say it...
but the verabilzer didn't realize that 90% of my order was White ink.
So, backpeddling was the order of the day...which ultimately left me holding the bag.

I want to believe everyone else...
but when my own transfer company (that you all know) is "foot in mouth" telling me otherwise...I'm a little disturbed.

I can be forgiving when fair warning is given...
but that's simply not the case...we're talking $$$$...and NO retribution offered!

I've never actually written this before...but WTF?!?!?
If I knew the shelf-life was so short I never would have spent thousands on stock!!!!

Are these people serious?

I'm not gonna say who it is because this post will be deleted...
but they've been printing for 30 years and have thousands of their own redneck-style transfers on the market (Crack of Dawn, 100% Pure Rebel Attitude, etc).

Please be aware...
I'm ONLY talking about White ink, they say colors will last at least a year.
And they say ANY transfers supplier that tells you otherwise is lying.

Which is why I'm asking people who have "white ink transfers" what their experiences are...
supposedly, the white ink won't release from the paper once it goes bad...so the white MUST be touching the paper.

Anyway, I'd be curious to see more people post what their transfer supplier has to say.
