Discuss the various aspects of heat press technology. Transfer paper, inks, plastisol transfers, vinyl cutters, printers, commercial usage, durability, suppliers, etc.
You know you can get the iron on transfer paper that anyone can print on from their home printers, and then iron onto a t-shirt using a household iron? These are good but the transfer always peels and fades off after a few washes.
So what if I use the same paper but instead of using an iron to cure it, I use a heat press. This is better right? The design will last much longer and wont fade or crack..
There are many factors for longevity of home printed transfers. The actual paper, quality of the ink used and pro application with a heatpress. I dont think Office Depot paper and an home iron are going to give you marketable results.
So basically in order to get pro, marketable results, I need to get the best paper, ink, and a heatpress. As opposed to cheap paper, ink, and my mum’s iron!
