Default Heat Press - Sweats

I am printing a large amount of sweats (pants and pullover). I have been told by one person to use 50/50. I know in the past, I had serious problems with the poly blend - burning.

I like to know what do you use with heat press transfer paper and dark color sweats.

I have epson 88 and 1280.

I use 50/50 blend exclusively because I don't like how cotton shrinks. I have fantastic results with durabrite ink in my c88 on light colors. Just finished printing some hoodies and crewneck sweats yesterday with ironall and thermoflex. As for printing on darks I use plastisol or vinyl. From what I understand the new ironall for darks is a good product. I just haven't used it yet.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the response. I will look into the 50/50 and print some tests. Thinking about having the sweatpants printed silkscreen. I have a photo I am heatpressing onto tshirts and sweatjackets. Not sure if I want to heatpress letters onto the pants since I dont have a cutter. Like to make sure I am giving the customers the best quality.

I have tried 50/50 in the past and always got bad results with what looks like the fabric itself bleeding through the transfer.Maybe I'm using some bad transfers so on that note go vinyl to be safe and as far as lettering goes, depends on your time frame and expenses buy lettering or order lettering.
